Mile High Youth Corps-Southern Front Range is seeking qualified candidates for our Project Coordinator: Land Conservation and Alumni Mentor: Land Conservation positions. Both positions are based in Colorado Springs.
The Project Coordinator develops and coordinates land conservation projects, is responsible for the daily supervision, on-going training and development of seasonal Crew Leaders, and provides critical support for operations and risk management at Mile High Youth Corps. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for special events. This is a full time, temporary, salaried position.
The Alumni Mentor is responsible for providing leadership, support and training to all Mile High Youth Corps Southern Front Range Corpsmembers. They support program planning, design and implementation, Corpsmember development and education and outreach and recruitment of new members. This is a great position for an AmeriCorps alumni to take on additional leadership. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for special events. This position earns a living stipend of $400 per week and is eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award of $5,815.
