The City of Aspen is excited to announce we are hiring a Natural Resource Manager. This new position will be responsible for the development, operation and management of the Natural Resource programs including the evaluation of natural resource conditions across city properties. The Natural Resource Manager will oversee 5 sub-programs including: wildlife management, forestry, parks development review, wildfire mitigation and noxious vegetation management. The position works closely with open space and trails staff, other city departments and develops cooperative relationships with the public, governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups to ensure the protection of natural resources, open spaces and trails.
