Hi all,
Boulder County Parks & Open Space Department is seeking to hire three Education and Outreach Seasonals. The work primarily focuses on being an ambassador for Boulder County by engaging with the public to communicate the department’s management activities, information about local natural resources, and recreational opportunities. Each seasonal will take a leadership role in a departmental project. One seasonal will be assigned to the Natural History program with an emphasis on environmental education and interpretation. Each position will spend approximately half of their time outdoors, while their remaining time will be spent on various projects and desk work.
This is a seasonal, hourly, non-benefited position with a tentative start date of late-March and an anticipated end date of mid-October. This position will work 40 hours a week. Two positions will work Wednesdays through Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the Natural History program position will work Tuesdays through Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All three positions have potential hours outside of typical work hours, due to special events or projects. The Natural History program seasonal will work out of the Volunteer Naturalist Center at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat, Boulder, Colorado and the other two positions will work out of 5201 St Vrain Rd Longmont, Colorado.
