The Four Corners Region of National Association for Interpretation has been working on something special for interpreters and environmental educators this spring! We are joining forces with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Conference in Breckenridge, and providing an NAI pre-conference workshop. The main conference begins the evening of May 9 through May 11, and the NAI pre-conference will be during the day on Wednesday, May 9. Here’s the link to the main conference site: http://cpw.state.co.us/aboutus/Pages/2018-Partners-In-The-Outdoors-Conference.aspx
The topic for the pre-conference sessions will focus on success stories with partners in interpretation, including the USFWS black-footed ferret reintroductions and other projects. We also hope to have a panel discussion about how interpretive principles are used by various agencies.
More details will be coming in about a month, but please put this on your calendar if you’re interested. If you’d like to be included on updates, please send an email to Deborah Price, dprice.
