Garden and Volunteer Coordinator
The Community Garden and Volunteer Coordinator will work under the direction of our Garden Program Director (Lynsey Gammon) to plant and maintain our demonstration gardens engaging the help of ~100 community gardeners and volunteers. The Coordinator will develop processes and tools to deploy and track the volunteers effectively and meaningfully. The schedule is flexible but requires a minimum of 25 hours/week during June, July, and August. AmeriCorps will provide the selected individual with a $3,343 living allowance divided into bi-monthly installments and an educational award of $1,538.36 (upon completion of entire member contract). Education Coordinator
The Education Coordinator is primarily responsible for developing and expanding the educational program of Summit Community Gardens (SCG). The Education Coordinator will also assist in maintaining the demonstration gardens, help facilitate garden volunteer groups, and assist at SCG events. The schedule is flexible but requires a minimum of 20 hours/week during June, July, and August. AmeriCorps will provide the selected individual with a $2,229 living allowance divided into bi-monthly installments and an educational award of $1,230.69 (upon completion of entire member contract).
