To provide journeyman-level building trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, & concrete finishing to construct new buildings & structures (restrooms, shelters, kiosks, entrance signs, etc.), and to repair, remodel, restore and maintain all other existing structures (including historical) owned and operated by Jefferson County Open Space.
This is a Limited position with a projected end date of 12/31/2019.
Essential Duties
The Parks Construction Specialist will be able to:
· Construct new publicly used facilities, and preserve and maintain historic properties and buildings. In addition, the specialist will repair, remodel and maintain all existing buildings & structures on Open Space properties by interpretation of blueprints, surveying documents, and grading plans, operating heavy equipment, using all power and hand tools, and adhere to construction safety practices.
