The Jefferson County Open Space (JCOS) Natural Resources team is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for a full-time Natural Resources Specialist to support our wildlife conservation and management program. The ideal candidate will have prior wildlife conservation/management experience with a focus on avian species; specific experience with Colorado bird identification and monitoring; a willingness to support other wildlife-related tasks including but not limited to wildlife camera program management, amphibian and/or reptile surveys, small mammal surveys, raptor surveys including nocturnal owl monitoring; and, a willingness to work as part of a team and to engage diverse stakeholders including the public.
