Hello COSA-
Our Open Space and Trails division at the City of Steamboat Springs Parks and Rec department is growing and we are currently hiring three newly created full time positions to join our team! Applications are being accepted through January 2 for the crew leader and maintenance worker positions and January 7 for the Open Space Technician.

Open Space and Trails Crew Leader: https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/steamboatsprings/jobs/3311732/open-space-trails-and-howelsen-hill-crew-leader
Our division maintains over 50 miles of trail and 2500 acres of open space in Steamboat Springs. For our crew leader and maintenance worker positions, typical work includes maintenance of multiuse singletrack trails, mountain bike specific trails, improved surface trails, and maintenance along the concrete Core Trail through town. In the winter both positions will transition to working operations at Howelsen Ski Hill. While previous experience in ski area work is a bonus, it is not a requirement of the job and training will be provided.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or for more information!
