Hi COSA Community:
As a reminder, the Colorado Open Space Alliance is seeking 6-8 highly motivated open space professionals to join its steering committee. This team-oriented group takes an active role in planning the annual COSA conference and developing strategic actions supporting open space agencies regionwide.
The COSA Steering Committee evolved from a small group of open space leaders interested in assisting new and emerging open space programs in 2000 to a growing network of open space professionals throughout the Rocky Mountain region exploring best practices in open space management, conservation, recreation, and inclusion in the outdoors. Today the program serves over 2,000 members and holds an annual conference with over 400 participants.
A more detailed description of the steering committee position and application instructions are attached. The application deadline is Friday, January 19, 2024.
