Our park system is unique with a wide variety of parks including a 980 acre wildlife refuge park, suburban neighborhood parks, urban public parks, memorial parks, busy commuter trails, a popular tubing river, skate parks, large regional parks, and our main office is based out the beautiful Carson Nature Center at South Platte Park.

All rangers for South Suburban are limited commission enforcement rangers (No POST certification) who focus on interpretation and education to address park rule violations. Rangers also engage in natural resource mgmt., wildlife mgmt., interpretative programming, and bike and river patrols. We are a tight knit group of 10 Full time Rangers. We are looking for experienced rangers that value collaboration and are driven about protecting our parks!
