[Personal Greeting]
I wanted to let you know about an upcoming opportunity for high school students and young adults who are interested in participating in Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC)’s Cairn Program. VOC is the state’s oldest outdoor stewardship nonprofit organization, and their mission is to motivate and enable people to become active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources.
The Cairn Program is an award-winning high school program that guides and challenges students to become caretakers of Colorado’s natural resources. VOC is currently accepting applications for both high school students and adult mentors through July 31st, 2024 (click here to apply). Founded in 2008, the Cairn Program engages 15-20 students throughout the school year in monthly outdoor activities and stewardship projects across the Front Range. For more information, check out the Cairn website linked above and/or the attached flyer.
Please reach out to Emily Novack (emily@voc.org) with any questions.
Sincerely,
[Your name]
