Join our team as the Biological Monitoring Coordinator for the Resource Stewardship Program at Colorado Parks and Wildlife! In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind various biological monitoring projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in influencing property management and leveraging a dedicated volunteer workforce to implement community science projects across our stunning state parks.
This position will consult with park managers, capital construction project managers, CPW planning managers, and external partners to integrate monitoring data into state park resource management and stewardship planning. Your role will involve creating and adapting biological monitoring standards to meet the specific needs of state parks, ensuring compliance with state and federal resource protection laws.
As the main point of contact for community science programs, you will recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers, working with CPW volunteer coordinators to diversify and enhance volunteer engagement.
