  • Earth sciences data collection and analysis
  • Computer coding in R, Python, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, and/or ArcGIS Pro
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Qualitative research design, implementation and analysis
  • Quantitative research design, implementation, and analysis
  • Environmental data collection and analysis
  • Environmental justice issues and activism
  • Social justice issues and activism
  • Public Health
  • Housing access and affordability

Internships will occur during the regularly scheduled semesters at CU Boulder in the fall, spring, and/or summer. We accept both paid and unpaid internships, while students are more likely to sign up for summer internships that are paid.

If you are interested in potentially hosting an intern, now or in the future, from the CU Geography Department, please provide us with additional information about your organization and interests using this link. Our department values and encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion and we believe our students would highly benefit from the new experiences they will gain interning for your organization.

If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.

Sincerely,

Dr. Rachel Isaacs, Ph.D.
