COSA Boulder County Parks & Open Space Research Funding Opportunity

Hello COSA Community:

Boulder County Parks & Open Space (BCPOS) has funding available through its yearly Small Grant Research Program to qualified individuals or groups to conduct applied research on County open space lands. Preference is given to proposals that address priority research topics, but all proposals will be considered based on their merits.

Boulder County Parks & Open Space also supports research that crosses boundaries with our neighboring peer agencies (City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, Jefferson County Open Space, and the City of Longmont), which can potentially provide additional funding for proposals of joint interest. Please familiarize yourself with their respective programs, topics, and deadlines as well.

The maximum award amount for proposals is $12,500, but proposals of any size are encouraged and considered. Interested applicants are encouraged to reach out to the appropriate staff member to discuss their proposal prior to submitting.

Proposal deadline is Jan 9, 2025.

Full details are available here: https://bouldercounty.gov/open-space/education/research/

Thank you for your interest!
