The Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources Team is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team for the 2024 field season.

We are currently hiring for two limited-term Natural Resources Parks Technician positions to support our Inventory & Monitoring Program. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting natural resource surveys, with a focus on vegetation, wetland, and grassland inventories. Additional skills in identifying native and non-native plants, performing wildlife surveys, using mobile mapping software, and collecting vegetation data from monitoring transects and plots are highly desirable. This role involves working across various disciplines, including plant ecology, weed management, water resources, and wildlife ecology. The position follows our four-day workweek schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
