The Colorado Parks & Wildlife Invasive Species Program is hiring multiple positions for the 2025 season!
We are hiring for the following seasonal positions at various locations including State Parks and Ports of Entry:
Watercraft Inspector & Decontaminator
Limited Commissioned Ranger/Lead Inspector

Gain law enforcement experience as a Title 33 limited commissioned ranger. Perform lead inspector duties including leading staff, providing training, creating schedules, and more. Educate the public on aquatic nuisance species and enforce laws and regulations.
Roving Invasive Species Technician
-
Support the program through watercraft inspection and decontamination at various locations throughout the state. Provide public outreach and education to water recreationists. Other opportunities include performing quality control assessments, inventory management, technical report writing, and data entry.
Invasive Species Outreach & Education Technician
-
Support our program through outreach and education to water recreationists, outfitters, anglers, and hunters on aquatic nuisance species. Provide surveys and attend events and expositions.
Invasive Species Lab Technician (Denver, CO)
Invasive Species Monitoring Technician (Denver & Grand Junction, CO)
Invasive Species Monitoring Crew Lead (Grand Junction, CO)

Strengthen your leadership skills by becoming a lead for the sampling and monitoring crew. Crew leads will be responsible for regular crew member duties and the following: safety, decision making in the field, quality of data collected, technical report writing, and more.
