The Town of Erie Parks & Open Space Division is exploring the utilization of UAVs in our open space management program. We’d love to hear how other land managers have incorporated this technology into their programs. If you have any experience with using UAVs for vegetation mapping, wildlife monitoring, noxious weed surveying, or any other management activity, please reach out and let me know how it’s going. We’d also be interested in what make/model of UAV, software, and any lessons learned from your experiences.
