COSA Now Hiring Basin Recreation Executive Director – Park City, Utah

Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District is looking for a new Executive Director. Located in Park City, Utah.
District highlights include:

  • 2,500 acres of open space, and maintains in coordination with Summit County and state/local conservation agencies
  • 185 miles of trails with managed groomed cross-country skiing, hiking, and mountain biking
  • 83,000 square foot indoor Fieldhouse with fitness classes, running track, turf field, gymnasiums, weight rooms, and an outdoor lap pool
  • 130+ rec programs, 80 weekly fitness classes, and numerous camps and community events for youth and adults
  • 10-year strategic plan and 5-year Trails & Open Space plan adopted in Spring 2024. Planning for the near-term development of additional park areas, trails, and recreation facilities.
  • Four (4) major park areas complete with bike and skate parks, sports fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, community areas, and dog parks
  • Works in partnership with multiple agencies and non-profit groups to enhance services for all community members and manage high demand community group access
