The Park Services Specialist is responsible for providing a wide variety of semi-skilled labor to support janitorial duties, operating trucks, heavy equipment like skid steers, backhoes and trailering of equipment, power & hand tools to perform maintenance, restoration and development of signs, fences, entry roads and parking lots, picnic areas, campgrounds, public restrooms, and other park amenities. Responsible for vandalism & graffiti mitigation on Jefferson County Open Space (JCOS) parks. Provide training and oversight of seasonal technicians, perform park inspections, snow removal, and public interaction as the first point of contact. Presents ideas, information, recommendations, and solutions to assist supervisors in the final decision making for park maintenance issues.
