COSA Please ShaMaster’s in Environmental Management at Western Color ado University

Dear Awesome COSA Community

I’m writing to share an opportunity that may be of interest to individuals in your professional network who are considering graduate study in environmental management, sustainability, or related fields.

Western Colorado University’s Master in Environmental Management (MEM) program is currently accepting applications with our first priority deadline this spring of Feb. 15. The program is designed for early- and mid-career professionals seeking practical skills, interdisciplinary training, and meaningful applied experience. Courses are offered in a synchronous format, supporting both on-campus and remote participation.

For students interested in restoration-focused careers, Western also offers a standalone Ecosystem Restoration Certificate, which can be pursued independently or alongside graduate study.

MEM students complete a substantial, client-driven applied project as part of the degree, working directly with agencies, nonprofits, communities, or private-sector partners on real-world environmental challenges.

The program faculty are also actively refining the curriculum, with several enhancements planned for announcement later this spring. Interested individuals can stay informed by signing up for the MEM interest form on our website: https://western.edu/graduate/master-in-environmental-management/

I would appreciate you sharing this opportunity with colleagues, staff, or emerging professionals who may be exploring next steps in their environmental careers.

Thank you, and please feel free to reach out with any questions.
