Hello COSA community,

Aurora Water is hiring two variable hour Water Conservation Program Specialist – Horticulture Assistants for the 2026 season.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working outdoors and helping others learn about water-wise landscaping. Staff in this role maintain the highly visible Aurora Water-wise Garden to botanic-garden standards while supporting public education and conservation efforts.

In this position you will:

  • Maintain the demonstration garden using best horticultural practices
  • Train, lead, and work with volunteers
  • Assist with research projects and plant data collection
  • Help educate the public about water-wise plants and landscapes

Position details:

  • Two positions available
  • Target Season: April–October
  • 40 hours per week
  • Hiring range: $24.35–$30.43/hour
  • Location: Aurora Water-wise Garden, 15151 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80012
