Aurora Water is hiring two variable hour Water Conservation Program Specialist – Horticulture Assistants for the 2026 season.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working outdoors and helping others learn about water-wise landscaping. Staff in this role maintain the highly visible Aurora Water-wise Garden to botanic-garden standards while supporting public education and conservation efforts.
In this position you will:
- Maintain the demonstration garden using best horticultural practices
- Train, lead, and work with volunteers
- Assist with research projects and plant data collection
- Help educate the public about water-wise plants and landscapes
Position details:
- Two positions available
- Target Season: April–October
- 40 hours per week
- Hiring range: $24.35–$30.43/hour
- Location: Aurora Water-wise Garden, 15151 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80012
