Summit County, UTAH is hiring a Lands and Natural Resource Program and Project Manager

Specific duties include grant discovery, writing, submittal, compliance, tracking, and reporting; budget management and tracking; expenditure processing; procurement, including request for proposal (RFP) writing and management; coordinating and supporting the County’s open space and agricultural lands advisory committees and volunteer programs; and basic office administration.
Responsibilities involve conducting community outreach; drafting education and communications materials; procuring and managing contracts and contractors; producing and managing content for L&NR websites; planning and implementing L&NR events; and providing general support and resource coordination for the Division’s complex and varied projects.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including writing and public speaking; be able to oversee numerous, diverse projects simultaneously; work independently with minimal supervision; and have a genuine interest in land management and natural resources.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated, can work independently, and enjoys working with a wide diversity of partners.
