The Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources team is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team for the 2024 field season.
We currently have a limited-term Natural Resources Specialist position open to support our Inventory & Monitoring team. Ideal candidates will have experience collecting wildlife and vegetation data from monitoring transects and plots. Candidates will need to be able to work across discipline boundaries of wildlife, botany, weed management, and water resources. Experience performing natural resource surveys, using mobile mapping software to collect spatial resource data, reporting data, and a willingness to work safely as part of a team is preferred. This position operates on our four-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm).
