The Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources team is excited to announce a limited-term Natural Resources Technician position focusing on wildlife.
Ideal candidates will have experience identifying Colorado birds by sight and sound and demonstrate willingness to develop new skills and experience regarding additional taxa outside of core areas of expertise. Experience performing natural resource surveys, using mobile mapping software to collect spatial resource data, reporting data, and a willingness to work safely as part of a team is preferred. This position operates on our four-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm).
