Hi all,
If you (or someone you know!) have been looking for a way to make a meaningful difference for your community, foster the next generation of climate stewards, and advance your career through experience, professional development, and networking, then the eeCorps might be the perfect fit! (Fun fact: 30% of eeCorps members have subsequently been hired on permanently by the sites where they served!)
Positions are quickly filling up in Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education‘s eeCorps program, but a few opportunities remain for service terms starting in September! AmeriCorps members serving with the eeCorps serve as part of the newly launched American Climate Corps and focus on increasing environmental literacy for PreK-12 students and implementing the goals of the Colorado Environmental Education Plan through field trips, in-school and outreach programs, overnight backpacking and camping trips, skiing and biking instruction, summer camps, and so much more.
During their terms, members receive a living allowance and ample opportunities for professional development and networking within the EE community, and receive an education award upon successful completion of their service.

Unless otherwise listed, positions below are 1700 minimum hour terms beginning 9/3/24 and ending 8/15/25. Fill out this interest form to be notified when new positions are added, including shorter length terms to begin in December and February.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Environmental Educator at Bluff Lake Nature Center (Denver) ->bilingual fluency stipend included!
- Field Instructor at Cal-Wood (Jamestown) ->housing provided!
- Education Programs Assistant at Dinosaur Ridge (Morrison) – 1200 minimum hour term, 9/3/24-4/30/25
- Generation Wild Outdoor Educator at The Nature Connection (Hotchkiss) ->option of housing or housing stipend provided!
- AmeriCorps Educator at Thorne Nature Experience (Lafayette) ->housing stipend provided!
- Environmental Educator at Bird Conservancy of the Rockies (Brighton) – 1200 minimum hour term, 9/3/24-4/30/25, housing provided!
