COMBA Strike Force Seasonal Trail Crew
Hey everyone, we have got some awesome applicants for this position and still have a couple openings. So, if you’re interested make sure to get your resume in! This position will include everything necessary to maintain existing mountain bike trails. The work will include but not be limited to: building new mountain bike features and repairing old features, fixing turns to make them more bike-friendly and to control erosion, adding and maintaining drains to control trail erosion, and re-routing trails that have become unsustainable. To complete this work team members will clear trail corridors of encroaching vegetation, move rocks to build features, turns, and drains, and cut new trail sections to circumnavigate unsustainable trail sections. This position will involve camping out for up to 4 days in a row as well as day trips to local locations. All the work is done within 2 hours of Denver. Starting pay is between $22-30 per hour and the work week consists of 4, 10-hour days. For more information go to www.comba.org/about-us/jobs.
