The Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources Team is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team for the 2025 field season.
We are currently hiring for one limited-term Natural Resources Parks Technician position to support our Inventory & Monitoring Program. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting natural resource surveys, with a focus on vegetation and wildlife. Preferred qualifications include the ability to identify native and non-native plants, conduct wildlife surveys, use mobile mapping software, and collect data from monitoring transects and plots. This role involves working across various disciplines, including plant ecology, wildlife ecology, invasives species management, and water resources. The position follows our four-day workweek schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
