Hello COSA Members,
The City of Westminster is currently exploring solutions to address prairie dog management challenges in some of our open space areas. As part of this effort, we are particularly interested in learning about any successful fencing designs that have been implemented to deter prairie dog encroachment.
If your agency or organization has developed or utilized a fence design that has proven effective in preventing prairie dog intrusion—or if you’ve tried methods that didn’t work and can share lessons learned—we would greatly appreciate your insights. Any design specifications, photos, materials lists, cost information, or general feedback on what has or hasn’t worked would be incredibly helpful to us as we evaluate our options.
Thank you in advance for any knowledge or resources you’re willing to share.
