Hello COSA folks,
I am with Eagle County Open Space and Natural Resources Department. I am seeking information on protocols and best practices for trail counters to monitor trail user volume (not necessarily user type). I am especially interested in protocols/best practices for trail counter placement along trails, calibration, and interpreting the data. Please get in touch if you or your program works with trail counters and has a set of protocols or best practices that you follow.
