Foresters at CSFS play a key role in programs from forest management to wildfire mitigation. They administer grants, provide technical assistance on forest health, and contribute to projects that strengthen both forests and communities.
- Field Office Locations: Boulder, Fort Collins, Franktown, Frisco, Golden, Canon City, La Veta, Rifle, Woodland Park, Alamosa, Durango, Gunnison, Montrose, Salida, Grand Junction, Granby, Steamboat Springs, and the Colorado State Forest (Gould).
- Salary Range: $50,000–$55,000
- How It Works: While we don’t currently have any openings, applicants can apply to our Forester Open Pool. We refresh this pool every six months so that when opportunities open, we have strong candidates ready to go.
