In addition to athletic fields and playgrounds, the Parks and Recreation department manages ecosystems throughout the urban areas like the wetlands on the north side of the Pleasant View Soccer Complex or the beloved Coot Lake natural area.

In this position you will enhance your field-based natural resource operations experience in multiple disciplines including:

  • Vegetation management (integrated pest management and restoration)
  • Natural lands maintenance
  • Wildlife management
  • Visitor management

This is a full time (40 hours per week), seasonal position that will last 6 months and will start around the end of April.

  • Full Pay Range – $21.01 – $29.40 hourly
    • Generally, the hiring range is from the minimum up to 80% of the range.
  • Benefit Eligibility Group – Seasonal Traditional
