​Jefferson County Parks & Open Space is currently hiring a The Parks Construction Specialist I which is an entry-level position that supports the new construction, maintenance, repair, and restoration of park facilities, infrastructure, and buildings. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is willing to learn, has a strong work ethic, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. The position works alongside experienced staff to develop skills while helping maintain safe, welcoming, and well-functioning parks and facilities. Responsibilities may include supporting daily maintenance and construction activities, inspecting facilities for safety and maintenance needs, assisting with projects and volunteers, and helping ensure work meets safety and building requirements.
