Hello all!
I am a Ph.D. student at Colorado State University and as part of my dissertation work, I am excited to announce a new opportunity for you to learn about Colorado native plant gardening and receive $40 in coupons to purchase native plants for yourself and share with others!
Wildlife-friendly gardening is one of the most rewarding ways you can benefit birds, insects, and other pollinators with your own two hands. In the face of habitat loss, it’s imperative that we all do our part to restore native wildlife habitat, one garden at a time.
CSU Researchers and Audubon Rockies are collaborating to offer exciting new free Habitat Hero workshops focused on native plant outreach. Attendees will learn how to get involved and grow their skills and confidence, not just in planting native plants themselves, but also in encouraging others to plant native plants. Participants will also receive several different $10 coupons for themselves and friends to get a discount on native plants at participating nurseries.
Gardeners of all skill levels are welcome!
We are putting on 10 free online Native Plant Outreach workshops from March-May this year. They are filling up fast, but we still have spots in April and May workshops. Check out the dates and register for a workshop here.
Feel free to email me at veronica.champine@colostate.edu with any questions!
