COSA Online Program: Wild Seed Collection & Cleaning 08-04-21 @ 6:30-8:30p m

Heralding the start of a new seed collection season, Wild Ones Front Range Chapter welcomes mountain seed steward Penn Parmenter to share stories about collecting native seeds in the field and tips on how to clean them. Learn about wild seed collection ethics and best practices and permits/permissions needed to collect seed. Planting regionally adapted seeds from local genotypes is the best (and least expensive) way to introduce species diversity into cultivated gardens.

A recording of the program will be made available to registered attendees a few days after the program.

This program will be virtual on Zoom. Registration is required, and closes at 6pm on August 4th. Wild Ones Members: $5; Public: $15. A small service fee will be added at checkout. Scholarships are available, please inquire at frontrangewildones. Registration covers programming expenses. Thank you for your support.
