The City of Longmont is accepting applications for Temporary Parks and Open Space Rangers.
Temporary Parks and Open Rangers provide resource protection, community outreach and education, and public safety on City of Longmont parks, open space, greenways, and public lands.
Duties include:
· Patrols of Union Reservoir, Lake McIntosh, City of Longmont parks, greenways, open spaces, and trails
· Provide education and enforcement of rules and regulations
· Interact with public and give direction and customer service
· Perform boating assists and rescues
· Inspect incoming watercraft for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS)
Hiring Pay Range: $18.68 – $20.76/hour
40 hours/week
Weekends, evenings, and holidays required
Job duration: March to November, not to exceed 1560 hours
