COSA COSA Registration is open!

Hello COSA community!

I am pleased to announce that registration is now open for this year’s conference in Grand Junction, Sept. 10-12. Our location at the Two River’s Convention Center is right on the Colorado River, inspiring this year’s theme: “Ripple by Ripple, Water is the Driving Force in Nature.” We are lucky to have two fabulous keynote speakers addressing this theme, along with a number of sessions on water in addition to a wide variety of open space-related topics. And of course there is a fantastic selection of field trips.

View the agenda, session details, and register for the conference at www.coloradoopenspace.org. Hotel reservation information is also on the site. Please remember that by staying at one of the conference hotels, you are helping COSA pay for the conference.

Early-bird pricing ($150) ends August 1 so don’t delay! COSA is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center. If you pay by check, it saves us a little on credit card fees. Be sure to make your check out to “CNDC FBO COSA.” Mailing instructions are included at registration. Registration refunds will be provided until Sept. 2.

The COSA Steering Committee has worked very hard to make this year’s conference one of the best and we are thankful to all who have helped make that happen. As you know, we could not offer the affordable pricing we have without our generous sponsors. Please be sure to appreciate their participation in making this a great conference! We absolutely could not do it without their support.

New this year, to promote sustainability we are using a conference app instead of printing a brochure, and we are looking into an app to facilitate carpooling. Watch for more details as the conference date gets closer.

Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you in September!
