| Dear CWAM Members,
The Director of the Francisco Fort Museum in La Veta, Colorado (just outside of Pueblo) has requested volunteer assistance ASAP to help fill sandbags to prevent flooding of their museum. Imminent rains are predicted to bring flash floods to the area and the museum is considered at high risk at this time. If you are available to help, please contact museum director Bob Kennemer at 719 248-4543 or via his e-mail director.
If you end up participating, please let our CWAM Emergency Preparedness Chair know (christina.cain). Also photo documentation is most appreciated. We’d like to keep track of the kind of impact and extent of help CWAM members are willing to provide during emergencies.
