City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Department is observing a trend where visitors are hiking or biking using small amplified speakers. We are trying to get ahead of this new use and wanted to poll our partner agencies for existing policies or regulations governing “projected music” within public open space properties.
City of Fort Collins Municipal Code does provide provisions for “disturbing wildlife” and “obstructing, delaying or interfering with the normal use of any natural area”. Are there other related regulatory or policy tools that are in use by your agency?
