COSA Managing Visitors During COVID-19

Hi All,
My name is Preston. I’m new to COSA. First, I want to say thank you to all of the parks and open spaces across the state for their hard work to keep their recreation spaces open during COVID-19. You have all done a great job!

With that being said, I want to offer an additional tool to help manage the amount of visitors our parks and open spaces are seeing. With Easter right around the corner, things are going to get even more busy. The tool is called Healthy Parks. It allows Colorado rangers and park managers to self-report how safe their parks are to visit. The hope is parks across Colorado can use this to prevent overcrowding by providing visitors with the information they need to make safe decisions regarding when to visit your parks. This is and will remain free to use.

If this is something you’re interested in, please feel free to reach out to me, I would be happy to get you set up. Or if you are a do-it-yourself type person please check out heatlhyparks.co/info.

Best,
