Greetings COSA community,
The Manitou Springs Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC) is currently considering adding a new policy concerning the appropriateness of the design, placement and installation of memorial benches in our open spaces and on our trails. We would like to review other Open Space Organizations’ documentations concerning the approval of memorial benches and associated plaques in open spaces. Any policies, guidance, examples, specifications, or other resources that could be shared would be extremely helpful to our volunteer committee as we draft a formal policy.
