“What is 30×30?”: National Geographic Explorer, Enric Sala
Join The Wilderness Society on Zoom to learn more about the science, challenges, and opportunities of protecting 30% of U.S. land and water by 2030 and learn more about opportunities to act in your state.
The U.S. needs to accelerate land, freshwater and ocean protection and restoration efforts at all levels of government and across the country. By setting a national goal of protecting at least 30 percent of all lands and waters by 2030—a commitment that is widely supported by Americans— the U.S. can be a leader in the global effort to conserve nature and address climate change. The Biden Administration has already established this goal, but it will take all of us working at the local, state, and federal levels to advance conservation solutions that make sense for our communities.
Join us and Enric Sala from National Geographic at 6:30 pm MT on March 25th to learn more about the opportunities and challenges of this campaign and how you can make an impact in your state!

Join The Wilderness Society with folks from across America’s Intermountain West on Thursday, March 25th at 6:30pm MT as we hear from expert voices of the conservation movement.
Achieving 30×30 will take all of us – individuals and elected officials in every city, county, state, and country – to advocate for new protected areas that make sense for those communities. Submit a testimonial to share what spaces you want to protect and why. Fill out this form and we will share our stories with relevant elected officials and use these stories to identify new areas to protect.
