Eagle County is hiring a Director of Open Space & Natural Resources!
The Director of Open Space and Natural Resources is responsible for leading the protection, conservation, and enhancement of the natural resources of Eagle County.
This position leads a team currently consisting of five employees to acquire, conserve, and manage open space within Eagle County for scenic, recreational, and specific conservation values; To educate residents about the program; To conduct planning activities, implement projects and programs, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to protect and enhance environmental quality throughout the County; And to protect and enhance the natural resources to Eagle County by working with partners to proactively support the community and regional efforts to protect water quantity and quality, wildlife and other natural resource management initiatives.
