The Extension Director is a local representative of Colorado State University and works under the supervision of the Extension Regional Director for the Front Range Region. The Extension Director is also a representative of Arapahoe County and partners with many different County departments to address local interests and needs. Arapahoe County Extension is housed under the Open Spaces department and works closely with the Open Spaces team. Responsibilities of the Extension Director’s position are similar to those of the head of an administrative unit. In addition to administration, the candidate will provide broad support to educational programming individually and in cooperation with other Extension staff in areas of value to the County.
