COSA Paid internship with Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Good morning!

I am hiring a paid internship position with Colorado Parks and Wildlife. The position is focused on equity in the outdoors in three ways: (1) Improving accessibility for people with disabilities, (2) Supporting current interns by enhancing a sense of community, and (3) Assisting with outreach and recruitment through a lens of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to explore all the different types of natural resources careers that are out there. While you’ll have your primary responsibilities, the goal of this internship is to expose you to all of the different facets of natural resources management. Interns will have opportunities to do things like shadow biologists, visit hatcheries, help with fish spawning, go on ride-alongs with Park Rangers and District Wildlife Managers, help at education & outreach events, and more.

I have the hours listed as 30-40 hours per week, but please know that this is quite flexible and I’m open to hiring someone part-time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Please see the full job posting here.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Shalana Gray
