All,
Pinyon Environmental is seeking a Seasonal Biology Field Technician. The temporary biologist position involves independently conducting biology field work, mainly surveying for nesting birds and raptors on both transportation structures (bridges and culverts) and in natural settings (riparian areas and upland grasslands). Removal of (inactive) nest material on structures using hand tools will be required. Work takes place in and near the Denver Metro area, often in an urban setting. Other biology surveys such as wetland delineations may be required. Rate of pay is $22-$26/hour depending on education, and the duration of the position is early March through late August. This position is a seasonal position with the opportunity to move into a permanent position, depending on company need.
