The Summit County Open Space and Trails Department is now hiring a Seasonal Trails Technician for this upcoming season.
The Trails Technician will perform a variety of general maintenance duties and implementation of management actions on open space properties. Specific duties include: monitor and inventory natural resources and public uses on open space properties; install/maintain signs, fences, and boundary markers; supervise volunteers on restoration and trail improvement projects; inspect, maintain and construct natural surface trails and associated features; monitor special events; maintain tools and equipment; other work as assigned including occasional office work.
This is a full-time, seasonal and benefitted position typically running from early-mid May through October.
