Job Description
The Ecological Services Group (ESG) at Smith Environmental and Engineering (SMITH) is comprised of six team members who provide professional-level services to a broad array of clients primarily in the Colorado Front Range, Eastern Plains, and Western Slope. The ESG Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising the team while also maintaining client relationships, assisting on bids and proposals, and managing budgets and monthly invoicing.
The majority of the work within ESG falls into six categories: nesting bird surveys, prairie dog management and relocation, noxious weed management, NEPA document preparation, wetland delineation and permitting, and other vegetation and wildlife services to meet client needs. This position is full time salaried with infrequent hours on evenings and weekends. While most projects occur outdoors, this position will be 75-80% office based. SMITH’s office is located in Dacono, Colorado, but flex scheduling will be available after a brief introductory period. Salary Range: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 annually DOE.
