Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) Department, Water Group of the Agricultural Resources Division, is seeking to hire an Seasonal Water Resources Field Technician. This is a seasonal position that works in collaboration with Water Resources staff to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties in executing field operations and maintenance on water infrastructure and assets.
The Agricultural Division of BCPOS provides for the stewardship of over 25,000 acres of agricultural land though partnerships with 65 agricultural tenants. Stewardship involves management of water rights that support 13,000 acres of irrigated cropland. In addition, our water resources provide for the stewardship, restoration and enhancement of riparian, wetland, wildlife and other natural resource values.
This is an hourly, non-benefitted position. This position will work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. This position will work at 5201 St. Vrain Rd., Longmont, Colorado. Under the FLSA guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
