South Suburban Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the opening of our Senior Park Ranger position in the Parks and Open Space department.
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Parks & Open Space, this position is responsible for managing enforcement of District park rules and regulations as well as work in wildlife and resource management, environmental education, public relations, property inspections and routine patrol. Directly supervises Park Rangers to include providing leadership, guidance, and training, shift scheduling, setting clear expectations, and conducting performance evaluations. Additional responsibilities may include: assisting with District user permits, special events, South Platte Park maintenance and resource projects. This position is required to work shifts ranging from morning to evening hours, weekends and holidays.

– Hiring Range is $59,072 to $71,424 annually based on qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position.
