The Jefferson County Open Space Natural Resources team is excited to announce several opportunities to join our team for the 2024 field season:
- Four limited-term Natural Resources Technicians to support our invasive species management program. Ideal candidates will have an educational background in natural resource management (or related field), some experience with invasive species management that includes mixing, loading, and applying herbicides using motorized and/or hand-held equipment, and a willingness to work safely as part of a team.
- Three limited-term Natural Resources Technicians to support our forest management program. Please note that these positions close on 2/11/24. Ideal candidates will have an educational background in natural resource management (or related field), some experience with forest management that includes chainsaw operation and conducting forest inventories, and a willingness to work safely as part of a team.
